Flu vaccines are here!  The flu is caused by the influenza virus which infects the respiratory tract causing symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, and in some cases serious and life-threatening complications. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommends that everyone greater than six months old get a seasonal flu vaccine as soon as possible this season. The best way to protect yourself and protect the people you care about is to get vaccinated. The seasonal flu vaccine protects against the three most common circulating strains on influenza, including H1N1.

KCMS Pharmacy is offering influenza vaccines for only $25 each, no appointment necessary.  Stop by and get your flu shot today!

About KCMS Pharmacy

The cost of healthcare keeps going up, and with that so does the cost of medications. However, did you ever stop and wonder what the most expensive medication is?  At KCMS Pharmacy we believe that the most expensive medications are the ones that don’t work for the patients that are taking them!  There are many reasons that medications might not work as well as they could.  Many times medications are taken incorrectly when patients do not or cannot adhere to their medication regimen.  We also know that no two patients are created equal, and a medication that works well for one person may have little or no effect on the next person because of their unique characteristics and health conditions. The only way to achieve the best outcomes with medications is to evaluate each patient's individual circumstances and take a personalized approach to solving that patient's medication-related problems.   At KCMS Pharmacy we have the knowledge and the technology to help you get the most out of all of your medications and set you on the right path towards better health.  We think “outside the box” and look at every aspect of your medication therapy: the best route of administration, the cost impact of medications, barriers to proper adherence, possible unwanted side effects, and in some cases even a patient’s genetic make-up.  Click here to learn more about the products and services we offer to help patients make the most of their medications.

At KCMS Pharmacy we also believe that the best way to improve our patient’s health is to teach people about ways to avoid illness altogether.  That is why we offer a variety of unique preventative medicine services to help our patients learn about their risk factors for various diseases and make the most of their health.  Click here to learn more about our preventative health services.

We invite you to continue to look through our website, and learn more about the opportunities we offer to help our patients achieve the best health possible, or even better, contact us to see first hand all the tools we use to ensure you get Individualized Medicine and Personalized Care.
